Ryan Weiss is an event logistics professional with more than ten years of event coordination, promotion and marketing experience. He has an extensive background in planning and managing cross-functional operations and entertainment industry projects. He is an analytical and a conceptual thinker who effectively partners with businesses and organizations to assess opportunities, facilitate strategic decisions, and drive successful implementations. Coming from a background with the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety as a 911 Telecommunicator, Ryan brings his detail oriented operation to all aspects of production management. Ryan’s company, Ogee Media LLC, is a multifunctional organization that specializes in event production consulting, community partnerships and creative team building and marketing.


Ryan’s ability to assess complex situations and identify appropriate solutions underscores his ability to gain meaningful insight and follow up with thorough analysis. He is particularly skilled at group facilitation and enjoys forging consensus among people with diverging ideas and opinions. Ryan has managed a broad array of projects ranging from small concerts and private parties, to large scale vendor events.


Ryan draws experience from his position as the Marketing and Events Manager for Round Guys Brewing Company located in Lansdale, Pennsylvania which includes talent buying, event organization, creative community partnerships and marketing. He has dedicated his time to serve on the First Friday Committee for Discover Lansdale 501(c)(3) and managed entertainment production logistics for their seasonal monthly events which draw upwards of 4000 people. Most recently, Ryan served as co-lead organizer for the inaugural Discover Lansdale First Friday Arts and Music Festival featuring twelve bands overall, including Joe Jack Talcum (The Dead Milkmen).


He also holds the position of Trustee with the North Penn School District Educational Foundation, a 501(c)(3) that focuses on fundraising to enhance educational experiences districtwide. He is also the co-founder of North Penn Parents Connections, which is an independent group of over 3600 members, created as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to connect parents virtually. Most recently, Ryan has collaborated with Lansdale based Headway Art Collective to launch Lansdale Tourism, which partners with and promotes small businesses in and around the Lansdale, PA area. His past experiences included being the Treasurer with the Bux-Mont Chapter of the Pennsylvania Restaurant and Lodging Association (PRLA).


He also draws marketing experience as an arts and entertainment columnist for the local news source, North Penn Now, including interviews with Matt Brasch (The Wonder Years) and Jon Wurster (Superchunk, The Mountain Goats, Bob Mould) as well interviewing Steve Whitemire (The Muppets) and Brandon Yeagley (recording artists Crobot). Ryan continues to serve as the Director of Operations for PA BLAST Con which most recently was a Finalist for the Bucks Happening Awards: Family Event. This is an annual family event that promotes education and creativity which drew upwards of 500 attendees in its inaugural year. 

Ryan has overseen talent booking, media coverage and marketing coordination for conventions stretching from the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania to Atlantic City, New Jersey including Wizard World. Ryan has produced and co-produced concerts and events with such talent as Jeffrey Gaines, Joe Jack Talcum (The Dead Milkmen), I Think Like Midnight (featuring members of The Dead Milkmen), Rachel Andie, Secret Nudist Friends (WXPN Featured), The Vansaders, Honah Lee, Stereotytans (Philly Happening: Best Band/93.3FM WMMR Local Shots Artist of the Month), Oblivion Her Majesty (93.3FM WMMR Local Shots Artist of the Month) Craig Bickhardt (award winning songwriter), Mike Brown (Grammy nominated/“American Pickers”), Stella Ruze (PHL Live Best Folk Act 2019), Handguns, Annie Christ (nationally recognized drag queen), Hambone Relay (WXPN Featured), Rebecca Zimmerman, La Bella and Poole, Cave Twins (featuring Grammy nominated producer David Mayfield), Jesse Gimbel, Taylor Tote, Lindsey (Kulp) McKay (American Idol participant), Sid Kingsley (NBC's The Voice) Terretta Storm, Tempest, Peace & The City Grease (PHL Live winners 2019), AMORA, Varials, Julian XTRA (featured in Forbes Magazine), Riverside Odds, and Cold Climb It (featuring Matt Brasch of The Wonder Years).
